1. Iron free aluminum sulfate can be used to fill inexpensive calcium carbonate fillers, which not only reduces production costs, improves the whiteness and folding resistance of paper, but also overcomes the inevitable drawbacks of synthetic slurries such as AKD. (such as slipping and difficulty in controlling the degree of glue application).
2. The retention and filtration of the slurry are significantly improved;
3. Iron free aluminum sulfate has a white appearance and low iron content, which can meet the needs of manufacturing high-quality paper;
4. Except for the fracture length, all other performance indicators of the paper have been improved to varying degrees.
5. It is a pre hydrolysis product of aluminum chloride, with a relatively low degree of hydrolysis, and the decrease in pulp pH value is smaller than that of aluminum sulfate;
6. Industrial aluminum sulfate is only suitable for acidic gluing, while iron free aluminum sulfate can be used for gluing in acidic and neutral environments, significantly weakening the corrosiveness of the system and making white water treatment easier;
7. Polyaluminum chloride can still maintain a high positive charge in the neutral or even alkaline range, instead of rapidly forming aluminum hydroxide precipitates like aluminum sulfate. Moreover, due to the pre hydrolysis effect of polyaluminum chloride, it does not cause a very low decrease in the acidity and alkalinity of the system.
