1. Low cost calcium carbonate fillers can be added, which not only reduces production costs, improves the whiteness and folding resistance of paper, but also overcomes the unavoidable disadvantages of synthetic adhesives (such as AKD), such as slipping and difficulty in controlling the degree of sizing;
2. The retention and filtration effects of the slurry are significantly improved;
3. The appearance is white, with extremely low iron content, which can meet the needs of manufacturing high-quality paper;
4. The performance of paper has improved to varying degrees in all other indicators except for fracture length;
5. It is a pre hydrolyzed product of aluminum chloride, with a relatively low degree of hydrolysis, and the decrease in pulp pH is smaller than that of aluminum sulfate;
6. Industrial aluminum sulfate is only suitable for acidic sizing, while iron free aluminum sulfate can be used for sizing in acidic and neutral environments, significantly reducing corrosion to the system and making white water treatment easier;
7. Polyaluminum chloride can maintain high positivity within a neutral or even alkaline range, unlike aluminum sulfate, which quickly forms Al (OH) 3 precipitates. Moreover, due to the pre hydrolysis of polyaluminum chloride, it does not cause a very low pH value in the system.
