Iron Free Aluminum Sulphate Flakes

Aluminum sulfate can be divided into two categories: Iron free aluminum sulphate flakes(or non ferric aluminum sulphate flakes ) and low ferric aluminum sulfate. This is mainly because the raw materials used in the production of Iron free aluminium sulfate flake and low ferric aluminum sulfate flake are different.

Raw materials for iron free aluminum sulphate flake are mainly liquid sulfuric acid and aluminum hydroxide powder, while low ferric aluminum sulfate is mainly produced by reacting aluminum ore and liquid sulfuric acid. Due to the different raw materials, their quality also varies.

As is well known, aluminum sulfate is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula Al2 (SO4) 3 and a molecular weight of 342.15, which is a white crystalline powder. It works as precipitator of rosin size, wax lotion and other sizing materials in the paper industry, as the flocculant in water treatment, as well as the retention agent in foam fire extinguishers, as the raw material for manufacturing alum and aluminum white, as well as oil decolorizing and deodorizing agents, compared with low iron aluminum sulfate, iron free aluminum sulphate flakes has higher alumina content and lower iron content, lower impurity content, and the appearance of iron free aluminium sulphate flakes is more opalescent and translucent.

4. Storage:

The product is liable to absorb moisture and clot due to long-term exposure.

It should be stored in a cool, shady and ventilative warehouse.
