Iron Free Aluminum Sulphate Granules

Iron Free Aluminum Sulphate Granules

Iron free aluminum sulphate granules are white kibbles or blocks, with white glossy crystals. Stable in the air. At 86.5 ℃, and some crystalline water is lost, and at 250 ℃, all crystalline water is lost. When heated, it expands violently and turns into a sponge like substance. When burned to red heat, it decomposes into sulfur trioxide and aluminum oxide. Weathering occurs when the relative humidity is about 25% lower. Easy to dissolve in water, almost insoluble in ethanol, and the solution of iron free aluminium sulphate granules is acidic.

Product Introduction

After prolonged boiling, insoluble alkaline salts precipitate. Relative density 1.62. Iron free aluminium sulphate granule is a widely used industrial reagent that is often confused with alum (i.e. potassium aluminum sulfate dodecahydrate). Iron free aluminum sulfate granule is commonly used as a flocculant in the purification of drinking water and sewage treatment equipment, as well as in the papermaking industry.
